You are invited to Pacem’s 2020 Feastival and Literary Celebration on February 14th from 5:00-7:30. We’ll start the evening with a festive food competition, and a chance to eat a delicious meal. Everyone is invited to prepare a dish — an appetizer or side, a main dish for any meal, or a dessert — and enter it into the Feastival competition. By popular voting and judging, we will award a number of honors, both silly and serious. Please fill our our online form to register and arrange your Feastival entries, or if you don’t wish to compete, your food contribution for the dinner. Dishes should feed 8 or so people (your family plus a bit extra). If your family doesn’t prepare food, please bring a $10/person donation. People make wonderful food — come prepared for fun.

After we eat and judge, we’ll hold Pacem’s Literary Celebration. Bring a piece of your own writing or of a favorite literary passage to read aloud or recite (no more than 5 minutes long). Sign up at the Pacem, or email Laura to be put on the list or to ask questions. Please be aware that this is a mixed-ages audience, so reading selections should be PG. You don’t have to read, but please bring a poem to hand to Laura in exchange for dessert.

Please let us know you’re coming by filling out our online form! Your answers will greatly help our planning an ensure that we have enough food for everyone.
