Come find out what it’s like to be part of our unique community! You are invited to a school visiting day at Pacem School on Wednesday November 30 from 10:30 – 12:30. Students can participate in our classes and activities and find out first-hand what it’s like to be part of our community. Parents, if they wish, can observe classes and also join the director for a discussion about our curriculum and philosophy.
Here is the schedule for the day:
10:30 – 10:50 Welcome and tour of school
10:50 – 12:25: Observe and participate in second block classes. The classes at this time are as follows:
- for ages 10-12: Language arts and literature: DCF books and more!
- for ages 12-14: The science of food and water
- for ages 14-18: High school math tutorial
Parents are welcome to stay during this time and observe classes or join the director for a conversation about the school’s curriculum and philosophy. If they prefer, parents may allow their children to experience Pacem on their own and pick them up at the end of the morning.
12:25: Visitors depart or stay for lunch
12:25 – 1:25: Optional participation in group games and lunch. Please come dressed to be outside. All members of the community bring their own lunches.
1:25: Visitors depart.
